Hello garden gals and guys! It’s time for another garden blog post. Today was such a lovely day outside that I got some more seeds started. Come and see what’s growin’ on at the Fat Earth Backyard Farm.
Here’s a quick little video on how to start lettuce seeds:
And here is an instructional video on how to start garlic sets. There’s some helpful tidbits of advice on how and when to start your garlic:
Here are some pictures of all my seedlings. I actually repotted quite a few of them today. The weather is gorgeous and the greenhouse was at about 80 degrees. It was like summer and the sun felt so good on my skin.
These are watermelons and green beans.
More watermelons and some broccoli on the left. Two onions next to the watermelons (that’s what they look like when you start them from seed). Tomatoes on the right.
Moonflowers in the middle towards the greenhouse wall and a mix of okra, tomatoes, beets, and kohlrabi.
Sugar snap peas and broccoli.
I started more peas and beans today. I also planted some quinoa seeds. Things are really looking great.
So, that’s it for now. Until next time…..
Another GREAT Post!!
Thanks, Tim! Your comments are truly appreciated!
